On her part, the Country Manager of ACCA, Doris Ahiati, charged the new members to think ahead and find permanent solutions to the myriad of challenges facing the financial Industry.

“When you take every setup, you will find the finance department, because finance is about resource management,” she said.

She also noted that the industry faces a great hurdle in identifying experts to critically analyze problems and see to the completion of projects.

"Today’s accountant she says should be equipped with back-to-back solutions to projects so that you don’t have projects stalling midway because you didn’t access the resources properly".
