“The terms of reference have been completed to enable the selection of auditors on competitive basis to undertake the forensic audit of the January 2015 Central Medical Stores fire outbreak. We have not had a forensic audit after all the requests. Nana Akufo-Addo has directed an audit and it has been done. We are going to have that forensic audit.”

In March 2017, the US ambassador Robert Peter Jackson said his country was having difficulty supporting Ghana with medical aid after 7 million dollars worth of medicines it donated to the stores were burnt and lamented the lack of progress at bringing the perpetrators to book.
