Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson has indicated that the #dumsormuststop vigil is not an agenda to satisfy a particular political party but an initiative to ensure that Ghanaians are not taken for granted.

Ghanaian celebrities: Yvonne Nelson, Sarkodie and Lydia Forson have notified the Greater Accra regional police commander of their intention to lead a protest vigil against the worsening power crisis in Ghana. According to them, several promises by government officials to end the power crisis have failed, a reason for which they will be observing the vigil.

Speaking to Citi News, Yvonne Nelson noted that the president has not been truthful to Ghanaians.

President Mahama, since 2012 has made several promises of an end to the crisis, but each deadline passed while the situation got worse.
