What will you pick when a shopping mall near you offers for shoppers to pick items for free in 30 minutes?

When one of the largest retail chain stores in the Middle East did this most shoppers went for things they felt they needed.z

In a video making rounds on social media, hundreds of men are seen clambering for electronic items while women struggled with each other to pick clothes on racks.

It is unclear why Lulu Hypermarket offered items for free. But many have said that it is sadaqah – a theory voluntary giving in Islam by the shop owners to mark the beginning of Ramadan.

The free-for-all shopping experience was said to have happened in one of the giant retail chain store outlets.
