Afua Rida is a fashion stylist, blogger, consultant and runway show producer who is very passionate about fashion globally and in Ghana.

She believes the fashion industry is developing at speedy rates in the West African country where she hails from and continues to share stories of herself wearing pieces from local designers.

As a blogger and stylist, she shares her thoughts and how she edited luxury womenswear brand, Christie Brown's Fall/Winter Collection for the everyday Ghanaian woman.

Christie Brown has been that consistent luxury brand loved by women, EVERYWHERE! Their ready-to-wear pieces breathe life into our daily looks and their runways pieces always keep us thirsting for more each year. Ever walked into their store to find everything sold out??!!!! humph!!!!!!

Their newest collect, Autumn/ Winter 2016, spoke directly to the women who live, breathe and wear the brand. Who is she? What does she do? How does she carry herself? What does she stand for and what is she wearing?

Quite simply inspired by the classic Christie Brown woman, our F/W 2016 collection encompasses the wardrobe of a woman who can merge culture, style smarts and sex appeal at the same time. Meticulous and mindful, she is never one to be distracted from her goals: Being able to take care of business and others. This capsule is the apparel embodiment of where our woman has been, where she is now and where she is going. This collection aims to highlight the diversity and power of African women in history, who’s lives have impacted the future of many other strong, wise, beautiful and mentally independent.

As a fan of the brand myself, I infused this collection into "the lifestyle". Met the luxury pieces with luxury and styled them in the way that I would wear them. I felt great, sexy, well dressed and in charge!
