'Bro-Dal Showers'

There is a new thing in town and it is called the 'bro-dal shower.'

As you guessed from the name, it is simply a bridal shower for guys.

According to BuzzFeed Life, who have played a major role in getting the term to trend, the idea was born because "grooms deserve to be celebrated too."

BuzzFeed Senior Lifestyle Editor, Rachel Wilkerson Miller, told The Huffington Post more saying;

"More and more guys are deciding against the traditional bachelor party with a stripper and Vegas, and are looking for a more laidback way to celebrate with their friends, and when guys marry other guys, their loved ones often still want to throw them some sort of a party to show their support for the couple."

BuzzFeed went on to throw, not one, but two separate bro-dal showers for two of their engaged male co-workers, and it had goofy games as well as delicious snacks and drinks.

The theme of the first bro-dal shower was lumberjack while the second was Batman-themed.

For the first, there was a chocolate tree stump cake, a beard-decorating game and more.

The Batman-themed bro-dal shower had a Gotham-themed table setup, a photo booth with props and games.

We think it is a good idea as weddings are usually centred around women, but now men can have a little piece of the action.
