Lokhanda visited some widows and disabled of Senya Bereku to equip them with simple self-defence techniques on May 27.
Senya Beraku, a village in the Awutu Senya District of the Central Region of Ghana, hasn’t seen much development and not a safety zone as well, hence the initiative by Lokhanda.
The self-defence organisation crew stormed Kufuor Gardens, Senya Beraku on May 27 to take some widows and disabled through a 3-hour orientation on simple self-defence techniques and first aid training.
The Community Chief, District Assembly Man and Assembly Chairman of Senya Bereku graced the occasion with their presence.
In the end, Lokhanda was awarded a citation of appreciation by the President of African Widows and Disabled Foundation, Michael Sackey.
Lokhanda's crew present were Ingrid Epezagne (Women's Commissioner), Lord Kwadjo Andoh, Changed Man Kay (Fitness Coach) and Alex Osei (Self-defense Coach).
