The programme although scheduled for 7 pm begun at a later time of 8:45, however, the stars were there to support Africa’s newest Afrobeats act.

We caught up with the celebrities on the red-carpet to ask them a few questions and the general consensus was that they were there to support Mr Eazi.

Sister Deborah was sporting a white jumpsuit with floral patterned blouse.

Another star on the red-carpet was Lydia Forson, an inspiring force behind Mr Eazi’s current music video. She had a little hand in the making of the music video because according to Mr Eazi, her role in "Keteke" movie gave him the inspiration to come up with the concept for "Tilapia".

The red-carpet was closed at approximately 8:40 when the star of the show Mr Eazi arrived at the event.

Mr Eazi avoided the paparazzi and made his way into the event to start the show which was already late in starting and Fella Makafui was also late at arrival explaining that she was putting on her makeup alongside her girl squad.

Mr Eazi, accompanied by a guitarist, gave fans a taste of his new music in the acoustic form before going down to the main event.

The video was a three-minute long short film which was shot in Akosombo along the banks of the Volta River with a very colonial vibe to the entire production.

It starred Fella Makafui playing the love interest of Mr Eazi and in the film, there is no use of dialogue in the portrayal of the love story.

Mr Eazi answered a few questions, gave fans a listen to his hit songs in acoustic form, signed autographs and the programme came to a close.
