Winners of the 2014 RTP Awards have finally picked up prizes from sponsors

Winners of the 2014 Radio and Television Personality (RTP) Awards which took place on October 4, 2014 have received their special prizes at a ceremony held at the Alisa Hotel on January 22. Winners were presented with electronic appliances including LED TV, Washing Machine and Fridges from GNA Home Appliances, sponsors of the RTP Awards.

Present to pick up their prizes were: Best Female Radio Personality Of The Year – Jessica Opare of (Citi FM), TV Male Entertainment Show Host Of The Year - Kwadwo Frimpong (Viasat 1), Radio DJ of the year – Dj Awana (Hitz FM), Radio Male newscaster of the year (English) – Richard Dela Sky (Citi FM), TV Male newscaster of the year – Bobie Osei (Viasat1), TV female newscaster of the year – Adwoa Yeboah Agyei, Radio late afternoon show host of the year – Quofi Okyeame, Radio Entertainment show host of the year – Agyemang Prempeh (Rainbow Radio), Radio Personality of the year (Eastern Region) - Londona, Radio personality of the year (Ashanti Region) – Frankie Taylor, and many others.

Lifetime Achievement honourees, Grace Omaboe (Maame Dokono) and Kweku Sintim-Misa (KSM) were also present to pick up their special awards. The dinner ceremony also witnessed a performance by dancehall music star, Stonebwoy.

Big Events, organizers of the RTP Awards also used the ceremony to launch two new events Africa World Celebrity Awards, and Annual New Year's Eve Ball Drop. CEO of the event, Prince Markey promised to continue recognizing the hard works and achievements of Ghanaians who make the media and entertainment industry a thriving one.
