ONGA which is Ghana's leading food seasoning product broke the record for the World’s Longest Feast Table at an event held in Accra.
ONGA breaks Guinness World Record for Longest Feast Table
The ONGA feat beats the current world record for the longest table as the guests in attendance were served with sumptuous local dishes amidst some entertainment.

The event was held at the Black Stars Square and saw over 3000 people throng the grounds to witness the feat.

The World’s Longest Feast Table record was previously held by Afia International, a company in Saudi Arabia.
Officials from the Guinness Book of Records have since certified the record.
Managing Director of Promisador Ghana Ltd, Dirk Laeremans said the event was aimed at showcasing Ghana’s rich food culture especially as the country is celebrating its 60th anniversary.
"Our aim tonight is not just to break the Guinness World Records but also to showcase to the world the business capacity of Ghana’s rich meals."

Participants at Saturdays’ event including children from selected orphanages, were not only part of the history but also treated to rich traditional entertainment; music, and free food.

According to the organizers the feat is one not only for the company but also for Ghana as a country.
"ONGA is very pleased to be a part of Ghana’s development and we hope to make our achievement last a lifetime,” he told journalists at the event.
