Glitz Style Awards; a look at 2016 and what to expect in 2017

Heightened hopes for another flawless red carpet moment tomorrow at 2O17 Glitz style wards on the 19th August.

Celebrity red carpet game undoubtedly got better in Ghana from 2016 Glitz style awards. Both male and female stars made grand entries to the red carpet like never before.

Honestly, last year’s Glitz Style awards, had the best red carpet moments ever in Ghanaian history. The female celebrities battled out each other in their flawless dresses. The men equally did not disappoint with their dapper looks.

This has heightened expectations of fashion lovers on what to expect from tomorrow at the Glitz style awards. We can only imagine the pressure on celebrities to outwit their previous look especially in this time of fashion feuds amongst stars.

Last year, the best three female celebrity looks went to Nana Akua Addo, Zynnell Zuh and Joselyn Dumas . All three got fashion critics and observers totally stunned.

From Zynnell who added much glamour to avant-garde style, to Joselyn who walked in with much class and the crème de la crème, Nana Akua Addo, who dazzled in her diamond encrusted dress.

The men equally came through trendy and smart with their looks. From the fashion god himself, KKD, the 1957 man K.O.D and the man Kwadwo Rana who always played safe in a white blazer with black pants.

Other stunning looks came from Berla Mundi, Becca who looked very beautiful in her apparel but seem not to be comfortable in her own dress because of the cleavage around with the cleavage in her own dress. Nikki Samonas also had us at the sight of her red dress.

There were some celebrities that got us shaking our heads last year around this period.

Naa Ashokor graced the red carpets as though she was from a naming ceremony with her church look.It was the “GLITZ STYLE AWARDS” Ashokor , not a church convention.

Sandra Ankobiah who got all of us wondering if it was a not another seminar for new layers called to the bar in her attempt to nail the cooperate look.

Not forgetting Kubolor, laugh out loud. Can we ever question his crazy style??

This was how hard fashion critiques went on our celebrities. Some reacted, others possible learnt.

This is more are reason we all can’t wait to witness the red carpet moment for tomorrows 2017 Glitz style awards.
