Dark & Lovely Color Intensity (Spicy Red)

Dark and Lovely Color Intensity is a permanent hair colour which delivers vibrant, fade-resistant color and shine. Check on more reasons why you should cop this product.

Style Pick takes a detailed look at a style piece, its strengths, uses and more. The review revolves around that thing in trend, the ones which transcend trend but definitely one that's worthy of style note.

Today's 'Style Pick' is Dark & LovelyColor Intensity in Spicy Red.

I have used this product for well over ten years although over time, the product has been improved upon; I started out with 'Auburn' a dark red hue thats super pretty! (at the time) later on 'Red Hot Mary' (with Mary J Blige wearing short red hair on the pack) to change later to, 'Red Hot Rhythm', years later after a major revamp and re-packaging its back as 'Spicy Red' (my favourite hue).

The brand; Dark & Lovely is perfect for 'black' hair as such products from the range are apt for Africans and Afro-Americans and so on.

The 'Color Intensity' is a hair colour and unlike other hair colours that strip the hair of moisture, Dark & Lovely range nourishes as well as moisturises, one thing uncommon with hair colours/bleach.

The color intensity is true to the colour transformation indicators on the pack, so for instance if your hair shade is extremely dark/black, your hair will not go all coloured as much fiery (if for instance you use 'Spicy Red') as someone who has natural brown hair before 'colouring'.

Its best to use the hair colour after weeks of retouching, never use it same day as a new retouch (except you can bear the sting of the colours on the new relaxed hair- I do sometimes!)

In all, it is a permanent hair colour which delivers vibrant, fade-resistant color and shine, hair is visibly lush and richer if healthy hair is in place before using the product, it doesn't break the hair (in my 0ver 10 years of use, this has never been a case to worry about).

I can go on and on about the hair colour but then its one I swear by, I'll try out other colours soon and be back for a review (I got the plum hue already!) but by all means cop this brand of hair colour.
