This acne-prone beauty blogger just shut down her trolls with a single post

Clearly she knows a thing or two about her skin and that might come in handy for others too.

Beauty blogger Kadeeja Khan of Emerald Beauty has unfortunately had to deal with her share of armchair dermatologists, so eventually she decided she’d had enough—and she fought back in the best way.

Kadeeja recently posted a video on Instagram with a very to-the-point caption: “YES I HAVE ACNE GET THE F*CK OVER IT!!! PEOPLE WITH ACNE CAN WEAR MAKEUP TOO!!” Ahem. In the video, Kadeeja shares with viewers how she uses her base makeup to cover up her redness and scars. First, she uses a green color corrector, blended with a few drops of beauty oil. Then, she uses foundation and contours it. The result is pretty amazing—her acne is completely covered up. Clearly she knows a thing or two about her skin.

Unfortunately, people started playing dermatologist again in the comments. “You put on your face a lot of greasy product!!! You'll always have acne!!! This is insane,” one person wrote. “Treat your skin, please!!!!” another wrote. “Girl u need Accutane,” someone else said. And all of the comments in her makeup tutorials are similar. (C’mon people, really?)

Luckily, plenty of people jumped to Kadeeja’s defense as well. "All these makeup tutorials are acne-free girls with unbelievably smooth skin. I'm glad for once I found someone who knows what it's like to have acne and work their way around it!" wrote one commenter. “People need to understand that makeup is for anyone that loves it,” another said.

For the record, acne is a skin condition that affects millions of people in this country. Also, it’s super rude to give unsolicited advice to anyone, regardless of whether you know what you’re talking about or not. Especially considering that a person with acne doesn't need you telling them that they have acne. Odds are, they're probably SUPER aware that they have it.

Those things should go without saying, but Kadeeja needed to put haters in their place to make it crystal clear that she has no time for their crap. Here's to you, Kadeeja!
