2Pac's biopic meets negative reception upon release

Celebrities such as rapper, 50 Cent, slammed the movie, referring to it as a poor depiction of the life of 2Pac.

All Eyez on Me (Release Date: June 16)

One of these came from 2Pac's close friend, Jada Pinkett Smith whose character was played by actress, Kat Graham.

She made her thoughts known on Twitter, holding nothing behind in a series of blunt tweets.

According to Smith, scenes captured in the movie does not aptly portray the relationship she had with the rapper.

"The reimagining of my relationship to Pac has been deeply hurtful", she said.

"Forgive me ... my relationship to Pac is too precious to me for the scenes in All Eyez On Me to stand as truth."

Smith was however grateful to the actors who played various characters in the movie.

She expressed her gratitude with the comments, "Thank you for bringing so much heart and spirit to your roles."

The actress was not alone in her criticism of the biopic.

G-Unit rapper and music executive, 50 Cent described the film as thrash in an Instagram comment he posted after watching it.

“Man I watched the 2 PAC film, that was some bullshit. Catch that shit on a fire stick trust me. LOL SMH TRASH", 50 began.

“I just want you to keep me in mind when you watch that shit. Straight out of Compton was good.

"That was a bad movie man, 2PAC is suppose to be a classic they they fucked it up. John Singleton said it was wack, I had to see it for myself.

"Go check it out you gonna be mad as a mother fucker. I want my money back now!!! Some of yal think I’m hating. SMH nah go see it.

"When you walk out of ther motherfucker like this you gonna learn to listen to me”, he added.

The build-up to the release of "All Eyez on Me" sprung up more controversies concerning the demise of the 2Pac who was fatally shot in a drive-by in Las Vegas, Nevada on September 7, 1996.
