A filmmaker is suing Beyonce and her record label for copying visuals in a movie he made more than a year before "Lemonade" dropped.

According to Matthew Fulks, much of the "Lemonade" trailer completely rips off his 2014 short film titled "Palinoia". In the suit, he says his project also depicted a "tumultuous relationship".

He said the copyrighted materials found in "Lemonade" trailer is over 39 seconds which have a slew of images similar to his movie. He also claimed that characters in front of graffiti-covered walls, red tinted images, dimly lit parking garages and closeup shots of "overgrown grass" are his.

Fulks further revealed that he knows a Senior VP at Bey's label, Columbia Music, who saw "Palinoia" sometime in 2015 and he thinks the executive stole his ideas for "Lemonade".
