Wolverine star hints final appearance in the 'X-Men'

With Hugh Jackman's caption of a Wolverine's claws' picture shared on Instagram it might not be out of place to say the actor has hinted on his last appearance in the X-Men movies.

"WOLVERINE ...ONE LAST TIME. HJ," Jackman, who has appeared as the gritty character in seven X-Men films since 2000 dropped on his Instagram account.

However, Fox previously slated an untitled Wolverine project for March 3, 2017.

While there is no confirmation if Jackman will appear in that film in some capacity, he last appeared as the character in 2014's .

The followup to that film, X-Men: Apocalypse is set for a May 27, 2016 release, and will feature the First Class cast members that include James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, and Jennifer Lawrence, along with different actors playing younger versions of characters from original including Sophie Turner,Tye Sheridan and Alexandra Shipp.
