Small screen adaptation of movie could be on it's way

Good news for comic lovers. Fox is reportedly in negotiations for a live-action TV series based on Marvel's "X-Men" comics.

According to reports, Fox is planning to bring your favourite mutants to the small screen.

According to THR, Fox chairman Gary Newman confirmed that negotiations with Marvel were in progress but that any resulting show would not be ready before 2016.

"It's in negotiations. We're cautiously optimistic, we had a good meeting with them. That will not be on a fast track creatively. This is just the deal, now we have to find the creative." - Newman said.

The reports state that  'Star Trek 3' writers; Patrick Mckay and J.D Payne will adapt the comics for the small screen.
