Though some videos were way off the hook (mostly due to low budgeting), others went against all odds to bring out some of the finest videos the industry has ever recorded.

1. Gboza by R2bees featuring Davido

“Gboza” music video is undoubtedly a world class video considering the concept, costume, location and on top of all, excellent montage. Director Justin Campos gave the video a perfect touch with its set up and angle shots. The video has been viewed nearly a million times on YouTube.

2. Mewu by Sarkodie featuring Akwaboah

Sarkodie’s “Mewu” music video featuring Akwaboah always brings back the old memories with its black and white motion pictures, storytelling concept and special effects. Lex MacCarthy did a marvellous work on “Mewu” video.

Directed by Phamous Films, the video which features actress Nikki Simonas sees the award-winning rapper drifts into a sci-fi/avatar world where he exhibited his rap skills and more. First of its kind in Ghana.

4. Fire Bon Dem by Flowking Stone

Flowking Stone’s“Fire Bon Dem” video which was directed by Benn Koppoe portrays the strength of a hustler who’s been through ups and downs but comes out of a deadly accident to rule as a king.

5. Forget Dem by M.anifest

“Forget Dem”, a video directed Garth Von Glehn and starring sexy model, Roselyn Ashkar captures frequent job quitting lifestyle of M.anifest but succeeds in life. The concept, costume, location and picture quality give the video a great meaning.

6. Black Magic Woman by Azizaa

"Black Magic Woman" video directed by Wanlov is controversial but certainly makes real sense. Azizaa proudly declares herself a “black magic woman from the African jungle,” and challenges monotheistic religious notions by referring to otherworldly entities and embracing ideas commonly associated with pre-colonial Ghanaian spirituality in "Black Magic Woman" music video.

7. Survivor by Church Why featuring Jupitar

“Survivor” music video directed by Xbills Ebenezer uncovers the struggles the world is currently going through in the hands of terrorists. With colourful scenes, bloody clashes, clear concept and high quality picture, the video which features Jupitar has made its way through this list.

8. Dogo Yaro by VVIP featuring Samini

Another vibrant video from multiple award-winning group VVIP. The Pascal Aka-directed film features some sexy female dancers arrayed in the trending Ghanaian investigative Journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ style of covering his face with sliced fabric. Good job.

9. Brother Brother by Bisa Kdei

Bisa Kdei’s“Brother Brother” reflects the good old days in our modern world. Costumes, set-up and choreography make the video directed by Prince Dovlo worth watching.

10. Pimpinaa by Obrafour featuring Bisa Kdei

Xbills Ebenezer did a good job on this one. It’s always a good feeling to go back to your root and that is exactly what was portrayed in this video. “Pimpinaa” music video is just beautiful.
