Guru revokes decision to boycott VGMA
Just days after stating his stance of withdrawing his nominations in the 2017 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, the "Gold" rapper has rescinded his decision and is now part of the scheme and is in contention for all categories he’s been nominated in.

Guru, who attained three (3) nominations; "Hiplife Song of the Year", H"iplife/Hiphop Artist of the Year" and "Best Collaboration of the Year", withdrew his nominations and presented an official to that effect.
But, just days after stating his stance of withdrawing his nominations in the 2017 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, the "Gold" rapper has rescinded his decision and is now part of the scheme and is in contention for all categories he’s been nominated in.
According to Entertainment GH, after Guru's management presented the letter of withdrawal from the Awards, a discussion was held between the organisers of the VGMA, Charterhouse and Guru’s management, where his grievances were heard.
After some intervention from management and some convincing from the organisers, Entertainment can confirm that Guru, is now back in the nominations list for the 2017 edition of the awards.
