New singer vows to shine

Singer Anas Tasia ready for the Ghanaian Music Industry.

Anas Tasia

Born Anastasia Ohemaa Acheampong, she’s currently an undergraduate at the Ghana Institute of Journalism and names songstress Raquel as her inspiration

Anastasia describes her brand of music as a salad of RnB, Soul, Hiplife and Afro Pop.

“I grew up listening to various kinds of music. It is definitely what has culminated into my sound today. While there isn’t a huge representation of female singers in the country now, the ones we have are giving their male counterparts a run for their money. It is very inspirational, what they are doing, and I hope to find my space in there.”
