Stonebwoy shares MAMAs experince, new name and more

Winner of "Best International Act: Africa" at the just the 15 edition of BET Awards, Stonebwoy, has finally touched down in Ghana after his trip to the States and South Africa.

Sharing his experiences with Efya and MzVee who hosted Yfm's special RyseNShyne edition revealed;

"I'm cool, this is like a surprise, I just dropped from the airport and decided to pass through YFM. Congrats to MzVee for her BET nomination and we are back.

"Durban was oKay, it was lit. I managed to be the only Ghanaian out there and it felt a bit lonely but every other artist is still your friend.

"The performance was great. Shout outs to AKA, Burna Boy and Alex. Thats like my new group.

"I ate breakfast from the hotel, got a call from organizers to do rehearsals and then it was show time and I nailed it.

"I saw a lot of fine things and fine girls but you cant just call them.

"Most of the girls were wild, but you can't even call them. They kept calling but I was too busy to engage them.

"My new name now is King Shaka.

"Currently, we are trending, MAMA was trending and we were there so we are current and trending."

Stonebwoy, Sarkodie and Samini who were nominated for awards at the 10th edition of MTV Africa Music Awards lost out in the respective categories.
