Stonebwoy was in a fierce competition with Ghana's Sarkodie, South African cool kid A.K.A, and Nigerian beauty Yemi Alade.
Many Ghanaian celebrities were present at the ceremony to support Sarkodie, Stonebwoy and MzVee. Stonebwoy won the Artist of the Year, Reggae/Dancehall song of the year and Reggae/ Dancehall artiste of the year at the 2015 Vodafone Music Awards.
Stonebwoy real name Livingstone Etse Sateklaa is the Chief Executive Officer of Burniton Music Group.
