Award-winning Highlife artiste, Bisa Kdei, has revealed in an interview with YFM's DJ Slim that, Ghanaian musicians can best sell our culture to foreigners  through Highlife music rather than other genres.

The "Metanfo" singer addressing the comments he made on the just ended Voafone Ghana Music Awards said "I made this comment on VGMA because, looking at the way Highlife music is loosing the attention it used to have those days, I think Charterhouse should create more awarding categories for the Highlife music genre if possible – because it is only the Highlife genre that is originally ours and hence, can sell our culture to the foreigners easily than other genres. This to me will motivate and bring in more talents to the High Life world."

He also emphasised on the fact that the genre which was originated in Ghana has been neglected and rather focusing on other foreign music genres.

"Highlife musicians are few in the game as compared to the rest because the attention has been taken from and channeled to those genres, leaving our Ghanaian/African heritage behind," he added
