Bro. Philemon - Fill Me Up

2014 All Africa Music Awards’ "Best Inspirational Artist of the African Continent" winner, Philemon I. Ackon, popularly known in the showbiz circles as Bro Philemon has teamed up with upcoming Ghanaian Gospel rap star and Aiphil records signee, Yayo, on a brand new urban gospel single titled “Fill Me Up”.

“Fill Me Up” which is a follow up on his double hit “Meda W’ase” (Thank you) and “All The Glory” is scheduled for release on Friday, June 26 with the official video.

The Gospel star once proved why he is counted amongst the best vocalists in Ghana and Africa as he lays exceptional vocals on Seattle based Joe Monto’s original recorded song. The song which is both praises and worship song is targeted on the international market and breaking through boundaries.

Bro Philemon cries unto God and asks him to fill his thirst saying “O God, I have tasted Thy goodness, and it has both satisfied me and made me thirsty for more. I am painfully conscious of my need for further grace. I am ashamed of my lack of desire. O God, the Triune God, I want to want Thee; I long to be filled with longing; I thirst to be made more thirsty still. Show me Thy glory, I pray Thee, so that I may know Thee indeed. Begin in mercy a new work of love within me. Say to my soul, ‘Rise up my love, my fair one, and come away.’ Then give me grace to rise and follow Thee up from this misty lowland where I have wandered so long.”
