Kwaw Kese and his team are hoping to give most of Ghana’s prisons the needed infrastructure injection.

“I am sure most of you have heard or watched the ‘locked and forgotten’ documentary which exposed the true state of our prisons in Ghana.

It is from experience that I assure you that the situation is more devastating than it can ever be told in a documentary.

My personal experiences from prison has really touched and moved me to contribute my little quota to help our brothers and sisters who have been incarcerated.

This is to provide some form of training and skill for prison inmates before leaving the walls of the prison to enable to be reintegrated back into the society after serving their terms
,” he said addressing the media on Tuesday.

Kwaw Kese said the foundation has been set up to also educate the public on dangers of substance abuse.

Planned for all ten regions, it is to create awareness, he said Tuesday.

An official of the team added, the foundation seeks  raise funds to help improve the living conditions of the inmates.

The Management of the Foundation also recommmended a painting project across all  prison cells in the country.

The Director of Prisons, Stephen Coffie, commended Kwaw Kese and his management team for initiating a project which will have positive impacts on the inmates.
