His commendation was on the basis that the video was well directed and shot taking into cognisance Dela's posture, the director, Prince Dovlo's use of colours which he [KKD] considers Afrocentric as well as his demonstrable understanding of shots which make a video phenomenal.

"The video is nice. Dela is actually soft and sweet and I think the director presented her as such in the video. The director also used some idioms which caught my attention. It was evident he has mastered his craft and knows what he's about.

"The way he presented the lady in the video, the way he used the paint brushes to make idiomatic statements of the colourful nature  the video... The soft pullouts, soft zooming and dissolves is so cut for such a soft song," he said on the video review segment of Atinka TV's Entertainment City, Saturday.

Since the release of Dela's "Let Me Go" single and video, the works have received positive reviews from musicologists and music enthusiasts.

According to radio personality and event emcee, Root Eye who has scored the video 99%, it is a perfect comeback.

"I know Dela for beautiful ballads. She recorded one with Okyeame Quophi and it was a powerful song... We haven't heard from her for a while; it'd not be too good to switch to something totally different from what we know her for" he said.

Produced by Richie Lynx Entertainment, "Let Me Go" which talks about tepid relationships employs some stimulating piano and guitar works in a mellow tempo.
