We have just one day more to end the first month of the year. There has been a lot happening in the music industry – in terms of events and music videos releases. Ghana Music Awards, the most prestigious music awards festival has opened its doors for nomination entry while more top stars are releasing new songs and videos weekly.

This week, there has been another shake up in the charts just as in our previous weeks.

Ghana’s first BET award winner, Sarkodie still holds his number one position tight. Unfortunately for him, his popular video "Special Someone" featuring Nigeria's Burna Boy and SA's AKA hasn't made any progress.

"Lobi" by Ghana’s best music groups and BET awards nominee, R2bees, has lost the second slot to rap legend Obrafour’s “Odasani”.

Samini’s “Iskoki” keeps slipping on our charts due to its low TV airplays as music pundits and lovers never anticipated. Although, the song itself is receiving massive radio airplay but the visuals in struggling on our local and international television platforms – maybe the location didn’t meet viewers’ pleasure. But all the same, the concept was perfect.

OFF DA Ground’s star and MOBO Awards winner, Fuse ODG made a surprise entry last two weeks with his latest video “Thinking About U” which features Ghana’s undoubted best sound engineer, Killbeatz. This week, he has moved ahead from 10th spot to 8th spot.

Bisa K’dei’s “Saa” is another video to talk about. “Saa”, a video directed by Prince Dovlo, has hit many Ghanaian screens and making a lot of impacts especially  with the storyline.

The rest on the list are doing really well, especially Sister Deborah's "Borla" and Criss Waddle's "PƐpƐƐpƐ".
