Defeated aspirant at the just ended Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) elections, Gyedu Blay Ambolley, has declined to serve as a member of Obour’s administration.

Reports suggested that Obour, real name Bice Osei Kufour, has thought of running an all-inclusive government in order to bring harmony and ensure the progress of the union.

But Ambolley speaking on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM on Wednesday stated that although he was yet to receive an official invitation, he would not be a part of an administration which used “crooked” means to win the elections.

He noted that Obour won the election through foul means, for which reason he has decided to challenge the results in court.

Delegates on Saturday October 31, 2015 renewed the 4-year mandate of Obour as president of MUSIGA at a congress held in Koforidua.

He won polled 88 votes with Gyedu Blay Ambolley coming second with 22 votes while music producer, Appietus had 18 votes.
