By now, everyone knows rapping is a God-given talent, but that notion has been re-affirmed the more after an old video showing some of the biggest rappers in Ghana surfaced on social media.

The likes of Sarkodie, D-Cryme, Yaa Pono and Opanka are some of the most talented rappers the country currently has, and they were filmed rapping in a trotro some years back.

Coincidentally, all the aforementioned rappers are from Tema – widely regarded as the rap city.

Gone are the days when rappers in Tema used to converge to battle against each other until a winner emerges.

But though those days are long gone, a video shared by GhGossip on their Facebook page makes one relive those moments.

Talent, they say is never lost, and it is evident that the rappers of today were talented from birth. As showed in the video, the rappers were being coordinated by D-Cryme as each of them took their turns to deliver their lines in the moving car.

The ‘General’ started it all, before handing the baton to Dade Opanka who trilled the passengers in the trotro with some deft punches. Yaa Pono then took over, before Sarkodie concluded with his trademark fast rhyming lines.

Perhaps this all-star rapping session could be made to happen once again one day.
