Electricity tariffs will be increased by 59.2 % across Ghana, while water prices will go up by 67.2 % for residential consumers. Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC) announced the increase today. The changes will take effect from December 14 2015.

Pulse.com.ghhas learnt that President John Mahama has settled on Vice President Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur as his choice for running mate going into the 2016 election. The choice has been confirmed by the president at a meeting with the National Executive committee and the National Council of the party at the party headquarters today

The 250 Mega Watt Karrpower ship has been connected to the National Grid. This is according to reports from the Ghana Grid Company- GRIDCOy. GRIDCO revealed  to Accra bases Citi fm that the power barge was connected  to the national grid a few days ago.
