The leader of Boko Haram, Abubakar Shekau has claimed responsibility for the recent massacre in Baga, Borno State.

Abubakar Shekau made the claim n a 35-minute video posted online adding that the sect would not stop killing.

About 2,000 people were reportedly killed in the 6-day attack while many others were driven from their homes.
Shekau said:

"We killed the people of Baga. We indeed killed them, as our Lord instructed us in His Book. We will not stop. This is not much. You will see. I'm ready"
