Koku Anyidoho cautions Nana Akuffo Addo

Mr. Anyidoho said the opposition NPP should be thinking of how to win the 2016 election than twisting NDC’s failed attempt to include Togbe Afede XIV in their Economic Committee

Deputy General Secretary of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Anyidoho has cautioned members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and its flag-bearer, Nana Akuffo Addo, to stop meddling in the internal affairs of his party .

Speaking on Oman FM in Accra, Mr. Anyidoho said the opposition NPP should be thinking of how to win the 2016 election than twisting NDC’s failed attempt to include Togbe Afede XIV in their Economic Committee.“Let them stop fighting...let Akuffo-Addo find a Campaign Manager. Let him stop disturbing the powers of the National Chairman...We [NDC] are united for 2016. We have formed our working committee and we are working”, he said.

Togbe Afede XIV declined serving on the committee on the basis that the Constitution and the Code of Ethics of the National House of Chiefs do not allow chiefs to be deeply involved in partisan politics.
