Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah has picked nomination forms to contest on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party’s parliamentary primaries in the Ofoase-Ayirebi constituency in the Eastern Region.
A group called ‘Friends of Oppong-Nkrumah’ picked the forms on his behalf at the party's constituency office.
Beyond the social media speculations, Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah is set to contest the parliamentary primaries.

His ambition to contest the Ofoase-Ayirebi seat is now a dream come true. The campaign posters are spotted at vantage points in the constituency.
He comes up against the incumbent MP David Oppong-Kusi who polled 53.95 percent of total votes cast, to win the seat for the NPP in 2012.”
The Party’s Regional Vice Chairman Alhaji Omar Bodinga told Starr News in an interview that Mr Oppong-Nkrumah was the third person to pick the forms two days ago, after nominations were opened.
“He is a card-bearing member in good standing,” Mr Bodinga said, adding that the former Broadcaster has been a registered member of the party since 2004.
