The Nigerian military has said that it has recovered two communities in Yobe State from terrorist sect, Boko Haram.
Army recovers two Yobe communities from terrorists
Kukawa Geri and Gubja were retaken from the insurgents on Sunday, March 1, and troops are currently conducting clean-up operations in the reclaimed towns.

This was disclosed by the Nigerian Defence Headquarters on Monday, 2 via Twitter.
“Troops are dominating OPs in #KukawaGeri, #Gubja in #YOBE, Rid of terrorists on Sunday. Cordon & Search ongoing there now,” the DHQ tweet read.
The military had earlier announced that it had recaptured some communities in Adamawa and Borno from the terrorists.
