The official online portal to Ghana, http://ghana.gov.gh has been hacked by one Alsancak Tim.

The official online portal to Ghana, http://ghana.gov.gh has been hacked by one Alsancak Tim.

According to the Deputy Minister of Communications, Ato Sarpong, government technicians are devising measures to restore the site. He was speaking on CitiFM's morning show.

“To an extent yes. I have made the relevant calls and we are working on it to restore the site in just a couple of hours.,” he said.

From what Pulse.com.gh gathers, Alsancak Tim is a Turkish hacker. On his Facebook page, On the FaceBook page, he alleged that this was the beginning of a cyberwar and will continue throughout.
