Government wins West Blue case

Government and West Bluelimited have been given the clearance to go ahead with the implementation of the Single window scheme at the ports.

The clearance was given when an Accra Human rights court dismissed an injunction application filed by a private freight forwarder Micheal Kwaku Gyan.

According to the ruling of the court,it could stop the contract looking at how far advance it was. It also indicated plaintiff had nothing to protect as claimed.

Micheal Kwaku Gyan returned to court with fresh evidence after an earlier suit was dismissed by a high court for what the judge explained as pre-empting the project which was yet to be awarded to the West Blue.
