Industries get 30MW additional power today

The  load being shed by industries will be reduced by some 30 MW as the ministry of Power reveals some 30 MW has become available for onward distribution to industries.

 

Industries in the country can afford a temporary respite as Volta River Authority is set to increase supply of energy to industries from today.

The  load being shed by industries will be reduced by some 30 MW as the ministry of Power reveals some 30 MW has become available for onward distribution to industries. Industries in the country were hitherto shedding 130 MW.

This news notwithstanding, President of the the Association of Ghana Industries, James Asare Adjei,  is pleading for more to be done to meet the energy needs of industry.

Ghana has been dealing with an energy crises for the past three years owing to a myriad of challenges in generation capacity.
