Samsung launches smartwatch in Kenya

Tech giant, Samsung Electronics East Africa has announced its new wearable technology with the introduction of the Samsung Gear S2 smartwatch.

The device was introduced into the Kenyan market this week, and it features a minimal and intuitive design whilst maintaining a sophisticated look.

The rotating bezel on the watch lets users view content on the screen without any physical obstruction. It can also record data for up to 24 hours in an activity log.

The watch is made from strong stainless steel and high-strength gorilla three glass, along with a IP68 certification for dust and water resistance.

Samsung says the battery of the smartwatch will last between two and three days on a single charge.
