uniBank wins best bank in ‘Long-Term Loan Finance’

The initiative, which formed part of the corporate social responsibility of the Internal Audit Department of the bank, covered areas such as tiling, painting and changing of the doors and windows.

uniBank has emerged as the ‘Best Bank in Long-Term Loan Finance’ of the Year in the Ghana Banking Awards 2015.

It also named as the second runner-up in the Most Socially Responsible Bank and first runner-up in Enterprise/Corporate Banking respectively.

uniBank, amongst other projects carried out in the  2015/ 2016 year under review, refurbished the charge office of the National Police Training School at a cost of GH¢30,000.

The bank also provided a television set and some branded clocks for the enhanced charge office.

Organizers of the 2015 Ghana Banking Awards acknowledged the contributions of the bank in social contributions towards the development of the general wellbeing of society, citing uniBank as an example to their counterparts in highlighting the need for banks to prioritize the development of society.

Meanwhile, Fidelity Bank won  Bank of the Year in 15th Edition of Ghana Banking Awards.

The Bank was adjudged the best in the industry for the year 2015, ahead of 27 other banks shortlisted for the awards.

The bank also won the Corporate Social Responsibility Bank of the year,  and  Trade Deal of the year among others.

Capital Bank was adjudged the best bank for newly created category, “Best Bank, Savings and Deposit”.

Winners of the 14 edition of the awards, ECOBANK Ghana was adjudged Best Bank, Financial Performance.
