Ghana Gas Company is a state agency that has the mandate to operate the infrastructure required for the gathering, processing, transporting and marketing of natural gas resources in Ghana.

President Nana Akufo-Addo has gone against the norm of appointing only his party members for all available positions within his government.

This was also done by former President John Kufuor during his tenure.
