Ghana-Isreal mull chamber of commence
The chamber is expected to become operational by the end of this year and will be known as the Ghana-Israel Chamber of Commerce.
Ghana and Israel are considering boosting their economic relations by creating a chamber of commerce, Iraeli Ambassador to Ghana, Mr Ami Mehl has said.
According to Mehl, businesses in the two countries are eager to cooperate and implement initiatives that will growth the economy of the two countries.
Freight forwarders want IDF reverted
The Ghana Institute of Freight Forwarders Association has called on the trade and industry ministry to revert the Import Declaration Forms (IDF) tax policy.
The Association say the trade ministry imposed the newly implemented IDF tax policy which can only be paid through the UBA bank two weeks ago.
Executive member of the Association, Kwaku Otchere Darko, says the new policy is causing a lot of complications at the port.
