Traders cash in on Hearts, Kotoko match

Some of the traders who spoke to Pulse.com.gh said business was good though they shied away from disclosing how much they had made.

Traders cashing in on the super clash between Kotoko and Hearts. 

Food vendors and traders selling paraphernalia cashed in on Ghana's biggest football game between Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Ashanti Kotoko at the Accra sports stadium.

Commodities sold included wrist bands which cost one Ghana Cedi each, handkerchief, two cedis, Vuvuzela, 15/20 cedis, shirt, 10 cedis, cap, three cedis and club flags which sold between 2 to 10 cedis depending on the quality.

Other traders seen at the stadium carried yoghurt,  sachet water , biscuit and bread.

The game was heavily patronised by the supporters of the two clubs who filled the stadium to capacity.

Commercial drivers also made some good sales by conveying supporters to their destinations.
