A report from the National Development Planning Commission has shown that over 70 percent of employees work under vulnerable conditions.
A survey by the National Development Planning Commission (NDPC) has revealed that over 70 percent of employees in Ghana work under very harsh, deplorable and vulnerable conditions.
The survey also indicated that the welfare of most workers in the country is less of a priority for most employers.
The Director General of NDPC and an economic advisor to the President, Dr. Nii Moi Thompson at the launch of the report said the Commission will study the gaps identified in the report critically and work towards bridging them.
The report according to Nii Moi Thompson blamed government partly for the low productivity in public institutions.
