The Juaso Circuit Court, presided over by Mr. Fredrick Tetteh, has sentenced two men caught with cannabis in their possession to 10 years imprisonment each.

Police Chief Inspector Leo Boateng told the court that Okyere was found carrying dried leaves suspected to be cannabis on a commercial vehicle.

He was arrested and handed over to the police and during interrogation, he mentioned Addo, a farmer at Wioso in the Asante-Akim North District as the supplier.

The prosecution said the police, based on this information, raided the house of Addo, where they uncovered large quantities of the substance concealed in two polythene bags in his room.
