Isaac Tetteh Djaba, believed to be the Deputy Communication Officer of the National Democratic Congress(NDC) in the Somanya constituency met his untimely death this dawn when he crashed with his motorbike and drowned into a river at Somanya.

Police Chief of the Somanya District Police Command, DSP Datse confirmed the incident in an interview with .
“The incident happened on the Somanya Akuse road. He hit a pole along the road with his motor-bike where construction works are ongoing and fell into a river”

“We were called this morning and the motor-bike has been brought to the police station”
“Although some NDC members after the incidence thronged to the hospital, we’re however yet to confirm whether he’s an NDC officer.”
The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Atoa government hospital for autopsy.
