Motorists approaching the curve on the Akuapem Ridge from Aburi towards Accra could be in  danger as sedimentary rocks threaten to dislodge onto the road.

Vehicles from Aburi towards Accra have been diverted onto the Accra-Aburi carriageway.

It is feared that motorists would be exposed to enormous danger if that section of the road is opened to them in view of the current dislodging of the rocks.

The Minister of Roads and Highways, Alhaji Inusah Fuseini said measures are being taken to halt the falling rocks.
