Security forces test readiness for election 2016
The joint security forces converged at the Black Star Square after a four-hour mechanised route march on the streets of Accra Saturday.

They had earlier undergone a show of force and parade their vehicles on the principal streets of Accra.
Addressing the personnel after the drills, the Inspector General of Police, John Kudalor, assured that the nation's security agencies are ready for the elections.
He urged the security personnel to "embrace this election with all the determination, commitment, impartiality, fairness, firmness and determination.
"We have done so in the past to the admiration of the people of this country."
He also entreated them to be "resolute and professional" in the discharge of their duties to ensure a peaceful election."
