A  20 year old junior high school dropout has been arrested in connection with the murder of the branch manager of Ecobank Ghana in Abrepo, the Ashanti regional Police command has announced.

The Police, the alleged killer and his accomplices visited the crime scene on Thursday. Commander DCOP Kofi Boakye during the announcement whiles briefing the media on Wednesday.

The Branch Manager of Ecobank Ghana in Abrepo in Kumasi in the Ashanti region, Richard Sallah was shot dead at his home on December 5. The suspect, Samuel Kwame Boadi is believed to be one of the three masked men who shot and killed the 39 year old banker Richard Sallah on Friday, December 5.

According to reports, the armed robbers broke into the residence of the pastor of the Light House Chapel International (LCI), murdered him and bolted away with a laptop and cash. A security analyst, Kwesi Anning in an earlier interview, had predicted that the rising spate of brutal killings in the country would increase so people should be extra careful.

The Police earlier promised a GHC 5,000 bounty for anyone who offers useful information that will lead to the arrest of the culprit.
