AG files application to withdraw appeal against Charles Antwi

Charles Antwi was convicted and sentenced for illegally possessing a firm arm after he confessed in court

The 36-year-old Charles Antwi was sentenced 10-years in prison in July 2015 after confessing that he had wanted to kill President Mahama at his church.

The Attorney General has filed an application to withdraw an appeal against the sentencing of President John Mahama self confessed assassin Charles Antwi.

The withdrawal application follows a ruling by a Human Right Court over turning the ten years sentence of Charles Antwi by a circuit court.
