No Ghanaian has been reported dead or injured in the gun and bomb attacks in Paris, France on Friday, Ghana’s Foreign Affairs Ministry has said.

Foreign Affairs Minister Hannah Tetteh, in a twitter message said government is monitoring developments in France to ensure the safety of Ghanaians living in that country.

“The attacks on the Bataclan Concert Hall & other locations in Paris are horrific & needless acts of violence we all must condemn.

“Our Mission in Paris informs us that as at now they have no information about any Ghanaians having been victims of Friday's attacks,” she tweeted on Saturday.

At least 100 people are reported to have died at the Bataclan concert hall in central Paris.

Meanwhile, France on Sunday night launched "massive" air strikes on the Islamic State's group's de-facto capital in Syria, destroying a jihadi training camp and a munitions dump in the city of Raqqa, where Iraqi intelligence officials say the attacks on Paris were planned.
